Default New ICE

Sorry to be a pain but the search facility is US. What are the different head units recommended for the S apart from Alpine? I am looking for one which plays CDRW etc and can be integrated to the controls.

I went with one of these as it gave me a DAB tuner, CD/MP3 playback, as well as MP3 playback via SD/MMC cards.

Check my sig for details of a dash control interface. I have in-screen aerial for DAB reception.

I sure do, Sony is the way to go, Alpine's for boy racer cocknockers.

Got a dash interface from the same guy as shiskie too.

Ade - such a well constructed technical arguement.

So far proven HU with interfaces;
Sony
Blaupunkt

IIRC other have used;

InCarTec, who do the dongle that came with my interface, also claim to do them for the following :-

JVC, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, Pioneer, Panasonic and Blaupunkt.

Follow this link to a pdf with details.

Me too, can't fault it and noticeable improvement in sound quality over standard, even with standard speakers...

Thanks for the replies. As a non cockknocker I will certainly be looking at the Blaupunkt but not confident enought to self fit.

I'm gonna 'self-fit' mine in the near future, now that I have the DAB54 & the antenna !
