New Honda owner
Hey guys, Im new to this website, and a brand new owner of an 2007 Honda s2000.
So far the car has been great. I bought it used off a guy who kept it in good condition. He has it for 5 years and put 10k miles on it. (total miles 33k)
I tried to experiment with the cars handling and revving, which now that i look back on it, it was not worth it.
I was in left turn lane and took off in first up to 6-7k rpm, shifted into 2nd and 3rd max revs. In the confusion of my stupidity i believe the clutch pedal was engaged halfway through 2nd.
It all happened too quickly that i cant really recall exactly what happened.
Anyways, i stopped at the light and i could smell what i could only assume was the clutch burning. the smell was still present for a good while even when the car was off and in my garage but not as strong as the initial event.
the next day i did a cold start drive, it felt as if the car was rumbling.
The best way to describe it would be, holding the handlebars of a lawnmower that you push, but just not as violent.
The rumbling stopped around 6-7 minutes later while driving.
are they related?
What do do you think i did?

Nope, i just decelerated with very little braking at the end. it was a city type area so my speed wasnt to high to begin with.
