New exhaust = fuel guzzler
Hi all
Ive had a hayward and scott exhaust fitted - sounds ace, but - Ive seriously noticed the thing now drinks fuel. I used to get 250 miles easily out of a tank on a commute. Im now seeing 200 and a bit, its quite obviously turned into an impreza style fuel muncher.
Anyone else had this?
I guess extra noise = less efficiency = fuel drinking ??

Colin Andrews (Single exit Spoon), averaged 29.7 mpg on the recent Woolly Bollard Tour. Considering we weren't hanging about it's quite impressive.
He was trying to maximise his mpg though.
I reckon it's down to the right foot being heavier.

Its prob only because your sticking your foot down more to hear the exhaust.
I thought exactly the same when I got mine on.
