Default New clutch question

I plan to change the clutch over the holidays and ordered a new Exedy clutch 'kit', which arrived today. I though the kit would be the clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing, but there's no bearing. On checking with the company I bought it from they say you don't need a bearing as they don't wear out. Is this true or am I being told fibs?

I am having an ACT clutch installed on the 2nd of Jan.

The flywheel is being replaced at the same time.

From my experience of sourcing a clutch from mine (ready for when the SC engine eats it) NONE of the clutch "kits" have the release bearing in them. Just get one from the dealer.

Looks like I'm going to return the 'kit' for a refund and get one from another company. The guy admitted his advert was wrong (it definitely stated a bearing was included). The other company do include the bearing and alignment tool and they're only

Llandaf North's a good place to be. It's definitley going upmarket since I moved here.

Cough.

Hey, with regards the alignment tool, just use a socket on an extension bar like everyone else?

Could improvise, but since it will come with the alignment tool anyway may as well use it. Looking forward to being rid of the annoying cluth buzz! Not looking forward to the actual job!
