This new one looks even more chav than the old CTR.
It says MAX POWER all over the new one. Sad.

Why is there this obssession with 4WD?

I can't think of any great track car with 4WD, with the possible exception of the muscle-bound Skyline.

The 911 x 4 is probably less incompetent than the x 2, but that's what makes the x 2 such a great driver's car.

A CTR should use lightness and cleverness for performance, not weigh more than the universe.

The very good news is, some 4WS remains: some angles reveal that rear track control links exist, similar to those on the US Si Coupe.

It appears they've ditched the torsion beam of the 5-door.

Honda haven't yet sold out completely.

Linked to the obsession with driver aids

And the growing delusion that you are a driving god, which is nothing to do with all the technology under and around you

Because you always turn it off

I was more thinking along the lines of if they decide to try and stick 250bhp or more through the front wheels then they are mad. Only 4WD or RWD would sort that little problem out properly.

I agree proper racing cars are RWD.

Any more than 200 BHP through the front wheels is a bit ridiculous, I agree.

The answer is lose weight, not gain more! I've seem how fast round a track an EE Civic with 150bhp is capable of going. It was amazing.

Still trashed the front tyres though!

Agreed 4WD is flawed, but it's better than FWD at handling >200bhp.
