New Carpet questions

As my carpet is looking a bit rough round the edges and stained in places I would like to change it. Is there anyone who has done this or is it one of those things not worth bothering with? Any advice would be great

the new spec mats not cover the affected areas?

The carpet is in fact two pieces, and is easily removed. If you can source a decent piece from a breakers (Mr Honda will want silly money) then go for it
