The invoice said 48 offset so im guessing thats all the way round? I havent checked with envyperformance yet.

A few days into driving the car with new wheels and the car does feel alot more stable with the slightly wider rear wheel.

One thing I managed to do when fitting the wheels was scratch the recessed part where the wheel nut goes, are there slimmer sockets that can be bought to avoid this? I tried 3 different tools and in the end just wrapped a socket in duct tape to prevent metal to metal scratching.

Yep, although Halfords carry a range of alloy wheel sockets with plastic sleeves

Nick. They look very nice. The dark grey works very well with the silverstone. A black hard top (or maybe Moonrock) would really look awesome

Thanks for the replies. I'll check out halfords sockets. I have an old RS electricians socket set somewhere with orange insulation. I'll see if some of these work but I think the outer insulation is too thick.

All in all I think they're great wheels for the

Correct.

There are almost no fitments for the S2000 with the correct offsets, so the handling will suffer.

Mugen or Volks are your choices. Lovely lightweight wheels, though.
Does this mean that the Spoon SW388 wheels are in fact also wrong for the S2000, although they have been made for the car? Are they intended for S2000 race cars?

How would these 16" wheels influence handling on a 04- model, compared to the standard 17" items?

K.
