So.....what would you choose between this and the NSX-R?

911 is king, and always will be. Not keen on the new Ferrari 430, or this new Aston, The 430 is just a (poorly) facelifted 360, and the DB9 just looks exactly like every other Aston at the moment.
The 911 is a constant evolution. What didn't work in the last one is refined for the next one. You can't argue with a 40-year development cycle, that again and again is proven to be market leading.

Your comment also has a certain irony when you consider that the appearance of the 911 has hardly changed in any meaningful way in over 40 years! So it's recognisably Porsche, you might say. Indeed it is - in the same way that the AMV8 and DB9 are recognisably Aston Martin.

It's V8 Vantage that's pictured above, not the DB9.

I wouldn't say the Astons all look recognisably Aston, I'd say they're all identical.

I think they look nice, for sure. But no I'm not particularly keen o them as true driver's cars. They've always been too heavy. And the new one, while being light, just looks the same as the others and doesn't stand out at all from the rest of the range.
At least Ferrari bother to make each one look different from the other!
Porsche are a little guilty of this with the Boxster I suppose.

I wouldn't be able to do the weekly shopping in a 911.
There was a new yellow GT3 parked in the local Tesco's car park tonight
