Hi guys new to the forum , going to be picking up my s2k next week but i would just like to know whats the best way to add about another 20bhp ish and how much would it cost, ive heard getting an induction kit is pointless. I just want to know the cheapest way to get more bhp and also some advice on how to gain some more torque

Probably the cheapest mod for bhp gain is to take the cat off and put a decat pipe in.

The S is a very expensive car to gain ponies from by modding.

To get 20Hp without forced induction would probably end up costing you as much or more than fitting a turbo / supercharger.

A decent intake, manifold and exhaust should bring you close to your target.

Here's my top tip though, this was achieved by using an AEM 1012 ECU and a good tuner.





Figures quoted are at the wheels and car was standard apart from the ECU.

Those figures are in line with what Mase got on the Italian NA cars he tuned recently, netting around another 12 or 13 hp.
