Don't you need to get the pads in pairs?

Camsport seems to be doing relatively cheap ebc grooved disc, but no mention of the blank disc. Could call them up to check.

I've got to change all of mine, was thinking of using the BI discs and rear pads with a DS25000 or similar front pads.

Honda discs are way overpriced IMHO although the pads seam to be reasonable money.

I would go for the BI ones, if only they would allow me to deliver to my work address. I tried to buy front pads a few weeks ago, and they have one of those delivery systems that only allows you to receive items to an address on their system, and my work address ain't on it. I had to get them from Honda instead.

Precisely my current set up (I did have Ferrodo pads all round but recently had to replace the rear pads and went for BI pads as I don't track the car as I used to).

I have run BI discs and Honda pads for nearly 2 years and they are absolutely fine for road use.

I have hammered them a few times on the road and this is running an SC too.

Honda stuff is generally very good and 75% of the stuff is reasonably priced however Honda brake discs are not but Honda pads are (well depending on your dealers price).

you wanna skimp on brakes with the level of performance from a S2000?

I'd go OEM - Honda have done lots of testing. Have these manfacturers done the same??
Go ahead, your money

FWIW Im using Brakes International rotors on all corners of the bimmer.
400bhp and 1.6tonne and I hammer the crap out of it.
This week for kicks I did some full bore stops from the limiter, limit braking all the way.
I did it four times consecutively to build a LOT of heat.
Total confidence, and thats with cheap ol' EBC reds too.

So the little Honda will be just fine

I have just done my rears last weekend. Solid disks and mintex pads from an online motorparts place. Never done them before and it took just over an hour - with a hangover!

Fronts need doing soon and am leaning towards grooved discs and OEM pads. Does anybody have any reccomendations?

Dont really want to spend more than £150 as the bills are mounting up and MOT looming!

Dont.
Grooves wont make anything 'better' but they do provide more opportunity for crack propgation.
Speaking from experience I found Brembo solids far better than their own drilled or grooved offering.
If you are talking budget, stay away from anything but basic.
I have no slots or rotors on this heavy lump, and with good airflow they are 100%

Hehehe, I used to like the noise, including the brake squeal - sense of occasion
