I guess technically the whitening ones should be slightly more abrasive.

Use that for heavy scoring, followed by Gibbs SR as the middle step then a kiddie toothpaste for final polishing.

Yeah that one on amazon got me bad.......

So after I apply some minty freshness to my headlamps, would a little ice wax or another clear liquid wax be a good enough way to seal?

Just a thought , has any one tried Brasso ? I polished a bit off perspex years ago with it.
