Nothing.

But then any manufacturer is always going to recommend the OEM tyre unless they want to upset their supplier.

If you're going with F1s on a pre 04 check the sizes in the tech faq.

I think are probably places that still have ES02JZ's still in stock which may explain why this question has not come up before. Since both Honda UK and Bridgestone have confirmed that the ES02JZ and ES02JJZ is essentially the same tyre I am not bothered about going for the ES02JJZ. If the tyre is not different why did Bridgestone bother changing the part code!!.
Now why doesn't this surprise me!
