Default My00 alloys

I've been looking at my alloys and they are in a bad way, not down to kerbing or anything but down to the alloys themselves, i've noticed that there is pitting on the front and in the corners also all around the inside of the rim that is on the rear of the rim. Just a question, is it worth trying to get honda to replace them as i have heard that some people have had theres replaced, was there any recalls for the alloys....??

any help would be grateful....

Just replied to your PM on this. If under warranty, no probs at all. Reasonable chance even if your warranty is up too!.

Had all of mine replaced under warranty (with only a couple of weeks left of the warranty).

A year later the new ones started to corrode aswell - so went back to dealer to see if I could wangle a new set - even though the warranty had expired! They took photos and sent them to Honda, but Honda came back and said it that they wouldn't replace them.

Pretty bad that 1-year old alloys were starting to corrode.

Anyway, there's no harm in going to your dealer and asking. You never know...

I had one of mine replaced at 4 years when the car was completely out of warranty. They will do it if you pressure them

Yeah - good luck.

If you do get some new alloys from your dealer - I might have to try my luck again with mine!
