Base on your statement, i am assuming that the plastic screen was too rigid because it was too cold? and pouring hot water will give it some flexibility?

anyway, i'll try the hot water tmr morning. just couldn't believe that the warm weather just now just wasn't quite warm enough for the screen.
Direct sunlight on a hot day should sort it also. The hot water works though. As you say it makes it more flexible

i'll have to resort to hot water since weather forecast for my area for the next four days is heavy shower.

Bad experience with the car!!

It was quite sunny just now, so decided to take the hood down and go for a spin. When i got back, i saw this

i am assuming it's not folding the plastic screen properly? and i guess the damage is done?
Depending on where you are try these.
