my vented bonnet
had a busy day today, i got hold of a used hood and put vents in it, ignore the crap spray job its temp until i know i dont need any further work on it and if i like the satin black or prefer silverstone, at the moment im liking the black but lets see in a few weeks
a week has gone by and we have had rain, the filter was getting damp so i decided to fit a rain tray, first of what it looks like before fitting
then tray fitted
and one from outside
i will do the other one but i ran out of alloy sheet.

I could not go any further as I have the filter sitting under the 3rd panel and was worried it might get wet
I have removed the rib between 2nd and 3rd panel and extended the second vent so it's just short of the filter, aprox the last 3 inch is the cold side of the heat sheild I have between filter and engine bay, next weekend I will make the heat sheild fit up to the grill
Early tests show around 7 degree temp drop at the engine intake sensor
