Default My trip to Centre Gravity.

Last week had Chris look over my S. First, Chris and Jayne again get a massive thumbs up for service and friendliness Second, after all the horror stories of seized bolts Chris said, for a 10 year old car, it was truly a "chosen one".Not one bolt was seized; two were a little "angry". I'm still going to have some geo work done, but the results of the healthcheck were pleasing, to say the least. Well worth the visit and, again, recomended (Though avoid Leicester if it's on your route..nightmare)The previous owner tended to the car well

Glad to hear your first visit to Center Gravity had such a positive outcome! 10 years old and not one seized bolt...could that be some sort of record?

to Chris & Jayne for their ongoing support of the S community.

I had my geometry on Jenson adjusted by Chris towards the end of last year - without a doubt the best money I've ever spent on a car! Before Chris worked his magic, my car was a bit of a barsteward to drive (despite the 09 plate)...a 300 mile round trip would leave me with exhausted arms as I fought to keep the car in a straight line under braking or changing down. Geo done, test drive later, it felt like I had a new car!

I hope you get your geo done soon so you can get on out there and enjoy the topless in the sunshine

to Center Gravity

Yes, they certainly do have a waiting list!
I too am going back towards the end of May. Anyone interested, give them a ring. Primarily I spoke to Jayne on the phone and she was very helpful, and I booked a healthcheck on the spot. They have a file THAT thick of S's they've done!

They started their business on the back of the S's.

Right now 90%+ of their business are various flavours 911's.
GT3's make up a hefty chunk.

And they have more than the odd track and race cars including Lola's and other exotica.

It's called driving it on the YUK's cart tracks.

Mine does the same ol' and develops understeer on left-hand turns.

possibly, but it seems to 'unadjust' itself within a week of having it adjusted. almost like theres another seized bush thats springing back.
the local place i have been going to hasnt mentioned any more seized bushes.. so unlikely.
GarageR had a quick glance at the bushes last month and nothing seemed wrong...

ah well, need a driveshaft before geo is done.
