Neil, my solution makes it quite easy to completely remove the bracket when getting out Id recommend the ONE over any of the GO series' (even the new 510 etc etc) purely because its size suits the S far better, try as I might I simply could never find a tidy solution for my old GO 500
Chris, entry level model... but tbh after experiencing TT's horrendous bluetooth phone functionality and the lack of space to mount an external mic in the S, it suits me just fine plus the size advantage...

If I had either the time or inclination, I'd source a spare dash from a breakers and cut a PDA size hole in it and fix the Seidio powered mount I use for my Axim in there, with a little slide down door for when it's not in use.
But I can't be arsed

Maybe controversial but never really seen the point of satnav - what's wrong with using an old fashioned map, or roadsigns? How did you all survive before they were invented? Save yourselves over

I didn't really spend anything except on a bluetooth GPS jobbie for 40 quid. Already had a PDA so *ahem* aquired Tomtom5 for it.
First time I used it was for a solo version of the Woolly Bollard Tour Worked out my route on Autoroute then transferred it to Tomtom and away I went. Much better than stopping every half a mile to check a map.
Use it every time I go somewhere new now
