Will have to give this method a go. I bought a TT1 after seeing The Psycho's mounting solution the other week. This works fine although I do find myself knocking the unit when turning sharply. This looks a good alternative.

The only solution i would go for would be if someone could mount a screen in the same place as the JDM cars. Anything else just looks like a compromise, although yours looks very nice.
I would really miss the use of that vent onto my hands though.

Does it not mount on the windscreen?
I've got a Garmin i3 (which is admittedly rather smaller than the TT unit) and it quite comfortably fits on the screen in the middle with the suction cup fitment that comes with it. Is it purely a size issue that prevents that with the TT? Or is that not a favoured option for some reason?

The vent is still very much useable bada, with the unit taken on or off, but like I said you have to consider that you dont want to melt the unit in the process.

Mark, I had my TT GO mounted on the windscreen and found it really irritated me and jigged about alot, this solution is alot neater and suits my needs much better.
