What i will say is with any F/I car there is an element of maintenance and odd things going wrong, generally they are reliable if done right/setup but bear this in mind.
But be prepared to have a bit of dosh esp if you cant spin spanners
Nature of the beast though, unless you hardly ever drive it.
With great power comes great responsibility LOL

If you ask anybody running big power, then everything else breaks first...gearbox,diff ,driveshafts. To make it possible to sidestep the clutch on mine I will need to spend another 8-10k.
You can cut corners but if you are after much more than 500hp the job has got to be done right.
Originally I was looking at(an absolutely pointless)1000 hp,just lowering that to 900 drops the price dramatically. My engine I am told will take 1000 all day,I struggle to believe that. The list of parts installed in it is impressive....but 1000 hp out of a 2.2 we shall see.
If you want to do the job with the best parts available you are looking at £20.000.Or is that just me being OCD?
What have you done to the engine?
I think a build thread is in order

Very nice sound Kitesurfer s2000 . Hope you are enjoying it And go on to install this AEM ECU because the greddy is so slow ECU.
As far as what Glen says i couldn't agree more. To tune the car over 600whp you need top and expensive parts and the cost gets ridiculous high
