'FatBloke' no idea mate. I just asked for a fast track setup, that I can use on road as a compromise.

You can still have the coilovers on without dropping the height much, this was a pic of my car after initial fitting, before they were setup

You can set the coilovers at any height you wish.

Can you get a slow track setup?

I found midway too soft for driving over 60-70mph. At least with the 12/10kg f/r combo. The springs would just want to launch the car into space at speed at midway settings. I settled on 3 from hardest fron and 5 from hardest rear for road, and 5-10 from hardest f/hardest rear for track. Equal softening up to 1d for rain on track.

If you don't lower more than 10mm all round, no need for all the other stuff like spacers and toe arms.

But, I think you would enjoy these.

[QUOTE=Hypersonik,May 24 2009, 02:34 PM]"In terms of quality, the OEM dampers are VERY good".

I've no idea either way, but Honda parts are usually reliable. I do know that I don't like the soft set up on my MY05 though.

The BC's are excellent value for money. They certainly have an excellent feature set, it will be interesting to hear your initial thoughts, one garage told me they run on plenty of drift cars and the owners were happy, one garage warned me off them with poor build quality...

Quality of the coilovers seem good. Yes the dyno figure was with the decat... to be honest, it feels like the car has a lot more midrange with the decat on (previously I had to have the car above 6.5k to get it to even move, now it feels more like 4-6.5k to get it to move a bit then obviously over to get it really moving). So probably didn't gain anything at top peak power (hence 236 bhp), but gained midrange.

May gain more when I fit a new manifold / rest of exhaust system. It was a Berk Decat by the way.

I hope I don't need these drive shaft spacers ... I never bought any, so I doubt they were fitted. I know the story with these, apparently it wears a grove in there or something and once lowered, starts wearing a grove in a different place thus causing vibration. However I've had no issues so far, just feels like it did at normal height. Will keep you all updated with what happens.

For people who thought the rear was lower than the front, here's a couple of pics on the flat in the sun.

as you can see, it's around equal.

I may get it re raised a bit at the back once I'm back from nurburg on friday.

Cool, cool.

I believe thats the case but also you cant get full range of geo adjustment without the extra bits thus having a decremental effect on the handling?, some of the more knowledgable guy's might chip in.

Well.. I am not more knowledgeable.

But there are are battalion of threads on megan toe arms etc etc

So.. if you are going to lower the car... you need to do it right.
