i paid 12980, no matter how hard i tried, couldnt get him to knock any more off as he had just taken 300 quid off the price anyway. I think i got a good deal for a mint GT example (40k mile)

Price sounds about right to me! It's virtually the same as mine (53reg) and i bought mine 1 year ago'ish.
