Default My jouney to work... an unusual one

I count myself lucky to live where I do - but recently been taking a different route to work due to traffic and I thought it worthy of some pics.

A few of the locals on here will recognise these...

I live in Bournemouth and work right the way round at Wareham / Corfe Castle...

Instead of the normal tromp through the dual carriageway and then through Wareham Forest, ive been going on the Sandbanks Ferry. Sandbanks is a very posh area where the rich and mildly famous work, and you can probably see why!

Journey starts with a drive down through Canford Cliffs and out onto Sandbanks / Poole bay...

Short queue to get on the ferry - not one you mind sitting in after driving in past the bay!

Off we go - the ferry is chain driven and takes a few mins to cross

And off the other side - the car in front was quickly punished The road takes you past Studland, and you can have a lot of fun on it - about 3 miles of windy stuff all the way to Corfe Castle where I work... Really gets the pulse racing and you often get a clear run.

And back again at the end of work - again, you almost dont mind missing the ferry when you get to sit around with that view...

Just to the left of the car in front is Harry Redknap's house - its foooking huge!

And back to the other side looking back out to the bay...

What a drive

Not cheap at

Just love Bournemouth, spent quite a lot of time sat next to the ferry crossing in the little car park just watching the boats go in and out the harbour. Cool summers evenings are just lovely.

Oh how I envy you!

How do you know he's not disabled?

Or would that be an assumption?

Like mine, that just because you drive a nurby, you aren't necessarily suffering from Aids?

Funny things, assumptions.

It's ok there is another unused one behind him.

Given you know FA about MB, I don't really know why you have posted that.
