Default My indicators have stopped working..

Today on the way home my indicators stopped worked, or the stalk has rather. All bulbs etc work when I lock the car or when I put my hazards on but the stalk has no effect, no relay click, no lights.. All the dash lights work with hazards etc, its like the stalk has no effect.

The stalk works to turn the normal lights on though its like the relay has gone.

Any ideas?

is the fuse different between indicators and hazards? simple things first

infact, forget looking for 1 fuse inparticular, i'd grab a test light and check all fuses as i have had it where something is on multiple fuses, yet fuse listing didnt tell the full story.

Agreed, footwell fusebox, No7 is indicators.
The hazard lights are on a separate fuse in one of the engine bay fuse boxes.

Sounds like a plan and the perfect answer, I expected something like fuses.

Is it a case of just picking a replacement one up from Honda as I don't have anything like a testing kit?

You should have some spare blade fuses in the fusebox.
have a look inside and check the labels if you can.
My newer UK carries a couple of spares in the unused slots, and theres a tool in there too you can yank out to remove them.

Had a look but i've got no idea which is the 7th fuse, nor which ones are spare.

EDIT: Found a diagram, I take it the 7 one is the 7th any idea which is spare and can they confirm this is the correct diagram and the 7th is the indicators?

Tim,

You should have a diagram stuck to the bulkhead of the car next to where your right ankle is when you sit in the car...?

This will tell you which fuse is which. If there is a fuse in a slot that has no label assigned to it, then you have a spare! For a further check, remove the supposed spare and look at the slot that it came out of. Shiny (ish) metal contacts = you picked a non-spare. Black plastic = spare, game on!

I'm just off to Hell Frauds to pick up some uber-mini fuses to replace the one I destroyed fitting the stereo (long story).
