Well the Easter hols are here and it was a toss up between shopping or giving the S a refresh after a winters use as a dd,,,, Sooooo the S won ,
first up whip of the wheels and get the tyres taken of, still haven't decided on a colour yet, so went round the local shop for a couple of rattle cans, get rid of all the flaky paint and give them a nice fresh coat ready for the new tyres tomorrow.

while the wheels are off i gave the calipers a good clean and painted them black, can't have nice shiny wheels and scabby calipers,

then got Ray to take of that crappy rocker cover, YUK!

strip off the old paint and give it a coat of acid etch,

then repaint and re fit,Hmmm i know it's off a shade but the paint shop who suppied it is shut till tues, it won't take long to re do now it's all prepped,

then i spent an hour a side getting all the tar spots off you don't half spot them when the cars at eye level,so tomorrow going to buff out a few scratches and fit the roof liner from RobinA3, and give the inside a good clean, change the oil etc,
oh i need a bit of advice the head lamp lens has started to go foggy Ray was going to buff it with 3m finesse it, will this be OK,

thanks Ang

Plexus is very good for filling and protecting the headlight plastic after cutting it back. 3M Finesse It works well for actually cutting back.

Hi Ang, I'd like to get rid of my number plate surround like you have, is it as simple as taking the licence plate off, chucking the surround away and then putting the plate back again?
