Each to their own and all that, personally i find the black interior a little boring, and the red/black interior make me wish it was full red. Weather it reminds me of the type r heritage or the interior of some sort of budget supercar i am not sure what the appeal is.
But build is based around the full red interior and it wouldnt be what it is without in my humble opinion.

replica bbs lms were always a stop gap while i searched for something more genuine.
With my dc2 in winter slumber i drove for some time on its borrowed TE37s mostly to keep the tyres from going bad.

however although beautiful the 16s were a little lost under the arches.Handleing was much improved from the 18" however

I eventually found a set of genuine BBS LM .Specs were 8x8 front and 8x9 rear et 35 all around which was tipping the max for standard s2000 arches so i had them professionally rolled without cracking paint.
225/45/17 and 204/45/17s slightly streched bridgestone potenza Re50 and uniroyal rainsport 2s were the tyre of choice.

The wheels came off a drift car and although straight were in a pretty poor condition

So i got them split and custom polished.Came out pretty snazzy

New BBS valve stems

Picked up an oem hardtop, fitting kit and a genuine honda hard top stand

big transformation in the car

Next came the small niggly jobs.

I replaced a sticky caliper with a refurbished pair

Shinetsued greased up the seals to prevent a leaky roof

found out the start button should stay lit and never did in mine, had a few other annoying dash bulbs not lightinging so i changed the lot.Got a good deal off SI on here.
Had to lower the steering colume to get at them

out with the old

in with the new

decied to rust proof the car.got the full dintrol kit off cleancar.ie

up on axle stands and the dirt work began.

the underbody wax leaves a lovely almost fresh paint finish

a few pics from the rally of the lakes in co Kerry in May

Edit, not my tyre marks on the road btw,i despise seeing S2000 abused .

Pretty much done modifying it,now just time to enjoy it.
