Default My first waxing

So I'll admit it, much to some of your horror I'm sure I've never waxed a car. ever.

I've had the S for a couple of months and approaching 3000 miles and I'm starting to consider giving it a go.

So, what's good stuff to use for a novice's nurby that doesn't risk me getting it spectacularly wrong?

How do I apply it? Find an old tshirt?

I've no idea what I'm doing! woooooo!

Beat me to it

Have a look near the end for what you might need too.

Use cotton bud's.

Apply wax to the end of the cotton bud and apply to the car.... should take about 72 hours to get it on.

Then buff to shine.

Repeat this process x 4

Well you could do it with your thighs, but I think the cotton buds idea is more practical.

Unfortunately Virgins seem to leak a bit and their natural oils are not compatible with that of Carnauba waxes.

Maybe it should be considered the 'alternative remedy' of the car detailing world?

They are 'Single use' items also, and as rare as hens teeth (At least, around Somerset)
