Default My first Mod!

wiper started falling apart so swapped them out this morning with Bosch Super Plus.

One thing I noticed when swapping them over was the rather beefy spoiler on the drivers side of the original set. was this stock? It is metal and part of the arm. Manufacturer is NWB.

If it is stock, how will my wipers cope without the spoiler at speed?

Do I need to go and buy a Chavtastic plastic bolt on?? maybe they do them with LED's

Nein.

You need to get a Bosch wiper suffixed with "S."

That's got a small spoiler moulded onto it.

it's usually possible just to slide out the old blades and replace just the rubber, might be worth a try.

Neither my 02 or 04 came with a spoiler on the drivers side.
You won't have any problems without the spoiler.
