Default My Car Tax has gone up

Just had my renewal through, £260 for the next 12 months! I'm sure it was £240 last year

(awaits flaming from MY06+ owners)

Last year was £245 - I got my renewal through as well - it's now £260.
But for the smile on my face I would pay £360 (but don't tell the theiving tax man this!)

Can't believe the government make you pay so much for having a external temperature meter in your car

I don't have an external temp meter and still have to pay £445. Although it's an 05 model it wasn't registered by the Honda dealer I bought it off until May 06. How's that for a PIA

I didn't sus it was an 05MY until after a few weeks (I think it was no speakers in the roll bars that made me twig it).


As I keep telling the missus, there's no point in selling as I won't get it's true value £445 a year.......worth every penny
