Default My battery went flat!

Was out on a nice drive yesterday with the gf going shopping and i stopped for a phone call turning off my engine 10 minutes past or so and then the bloody car wouldnt start!!

i always have my lights on so that didnt help the matter, the window lost its memory but that wasnt hard to fix, just was abit embarresing asking sum1 to push a s2k for me

You should try to avoid push starting any car with a catalytic converter - the unburnt fuel can damage the cat. Much better to jump start if at all possible.

i Know it isnt good to push start a car but that was my only option. i have a battery charger so im going to charge it over night, if that doesnt work ile purchase a new battery. halfrauds???

Check the tech FAQ. Halfords do supply a suitable battery but you need to get one with the terminals the correct way round.

Some have found that their local Honda dealer can supply batteries at competitive prices. Worth checking.

craig there must be a reason your battery went flat. im sure it will charge but you might end up with a dead battery again. Dont think leaving your lights on would flat your bat' that quick unless the problem was building up.

Yellow Pages.
Battery specialist very near to me had one a lot less than the dealers.
And they give a 5yr guarantee on the cheapo Exide.
