Being an oldf**t I have the bog std Honda radio / CD.

Now i'm sure it used to show the station ident when tuned in on FM. now it seems to show the channel number and the time. If I press either the PTY or the TA buttons it briefly changes to station ident and then back to channel and time. If I adjust the volume it also briefly changes to station ident then back to channel and time.

Anybody know if there is a secret combination of buttons to push to make the radio show channel ident permanently? Doing what it says in the book (hold down TA for 2+ seconds does not work to make a perm change. After another 10secs or so it changes back)

On mine, there's a little round button under the tuning knob that swaps between the time/ident modes.
