Default Muz Lower Strut Brace

Hi All

I have read on the board that the Muz Lower Strut Brace can be a bit awkward to fit due to the misalignment of the mounting holes.

Well this is my answer to this problem when I found one of the holes out by about 1/4 of a hole. They say a picture says a thousand words.

Good idea what da u fink? I also managed to fit it with the car sat on its 4 wheels on my drive, only jacked it up to take the picture.

The most important thing when fitting the brace is to make sure you can screw the 4 screws in by hand before you tighten them with a wrench.

Rog

I've fitted three now and found loosening the two other bolts on each bracket give you a lot more play.

If you still can't align it, you can try jacking the car slightly in strange places, in order to bow it slightly.

It's trial and error, AFAIK.

You must be thin to get under the car whilst not jacked? (Or even to get at stuff from beside it).
