Sssh...it's the forum equivalent of sitting next to someone and repeatedly poking them on the arm for an hour. It's fun to see when they pop

Agreed, they suit the car SO well... I must find a set.

If you ever come across 2 sets please let me know Graham.

[QUOTE=Paper Lawyer,Mar 17 2006, 08:21 PM] The car was (to be jock-like) *very* lowered when that photo was taken, circa 45mm drop at the front at the time.

With regard to the legality, does that still actually apply if the copyright holder no longer exists though? (Assuming it was the company, not an indvidual that held it). T
Copyright duration is life of author plus 70 years (don't confuse "authorship" with "first ownership" which would be the company if design drawn by an employee). Copyright used in industrial process (i.e. making more than 50 articles IIRC) has protection akin to registered design rights - 25 years from date [first put on market] (not 100% sure on trigger date). Patents have 20 years, unregistered design rights, 15 years (or ten years from first on the market IIRC). All above is English law, US/Jap laws will differ. Trained as an IP lawyer, but spend much more time on IT contracts these days I'm afraid.

A simple "yes" would have sufficed You charge by the word don't you

Ta though - tis a shame as I'd love a set of those but their rarity makes them too expensive (and hard to come by) to justify for me at the moment.

(I seem to have an uncanny knack at yanking things off topic lately...back to the hardtop )
