Default Mugen Exhaust and CAI delivered

The Mugen exhaust and CAI arrived today.

The items arrived in the largest box I've had delivered to work to date - all the stuff looks great, although the phrase 'value for money' is not one I'd particulary use. I've already torched the invoice for fear of SWMBO ever getting sight of it.

I've loaned a Dremel and this weekend may see the bits fitted if I'm able to get some help removing the bonnet. The exhaust will be a cinch to fit - the CAI somewhat more involved.

Here's to the new S soundtrack being all I hope it will be!

Good luck with the install. Just take your time with the bonnet cutting. Here's a useful photo I took after I'd done, which gives you a good idea of where to cut the bonnet. I didn't find the instructions provided were that helpful tbh.

This is what I used to tidy the edging up after I'd sprayed the area. Linky

Need to wait until my bank balance has recovered, had a few nasty surprises last month plus owing money to others has taken priority.

Same bits as me too

The intake doesn't sound any different, the exhaust sounds a bit louder, but sounds very good.

Mark,

There is no need to remove the bonnet. If you need a hand, give me a shout.

Chris.

I would make the cutting process a whole lot easier, but I was worried about it not lining back up correctly when I put it back on so I opted for cutting it on the car.
