Failing that ChrisR will know!
I've never seen the Mugen mounts for the S2000.

I have however seen them for a DC5 and IIRC they are still fluid filled. The DC5 Mugen mounts were just right IMO. I had solid polybush inserts fitted to the standard mounts and I thought that they were too harsh and allowed too much vibration into the cabin at idle.

Sorry I can't be more help.

Chris.

See this shows just how subjective it is. I had the energy suspension inserts on my DC5 and I was pleasantly surprised how little vibration there was!

I would be almost certain that Tom at TGM will be able to tell you, but just in case he can't I'll let you have a definitive answer as soon as I hear back from Japan.

Edit: I have now received the following information direct from Japan, I hope this answers your query:

"Mugen mounts are also fluid filled like the OE.
There are two type mount in the set.

The big one - 50810-XGS-00N0 , RUBBER ASSY, FR.ENG. MTG (OE Hs60 , Mugen Hs over 70)

The small one-50806-XGS -00N0, INS RUBBER , TRANS MISSION MTG.(OE Hs50 , Mugen Hs over 65)"

completely agree with that regarding suspension, not good mixing and matching, but engine mounts are a different system again and as such will not have any effect on the rest of the set up , unless your point is you know when Mugen say medium what its likely to mean and a new (to you) supplier is an unknown qty in which case just ignore me
Talk to Kawisaki vtec he has Phils old inovitive mounts, i believe they arethe full hard version.

oxhouser - you've got it, I know what the Mugens will be like but the others are an unknown quantity in how they perform compliance wise, you really do need to speak with someone who has experienced them.

You say kawisaki vtec has phils innovative mounts - yet Adrian is saying he has them
