It Failed

You lot are fecking useless .......

Fast Idle Test:

CO: 2.2 (Max 0.3)
Lambda: 0.937 (Min 0.937, Max 1.030)

Second Fast Idle Test:

CO: 2.41 (Max 0.3)
Lambda: 0.929 (Min 0.937, Max 1.030)

Natural Idle Test:

CO: 0.73 (Max 0.5)



Now where did I put my ECU

I thought one of the key differences is the mugen switches off the airpump which is used to improve emissions..

did you drive and get the CAT nice and hot before doing the test?

Aww man. Bad luck Steven. I don't think I'll risk the J's ECU either even though it still utilises the air pump.

I can get the car back to them tomorrow after work and they should be able to re-test just the emissions.

Any longer than 24hrs and it requires a full retest.

OEM ECU is now in the car.

Really surprised at that!

Thought they both used the air pump, but must be wrong on that one. I thought the US guys had no prob with this either...?

Let us know how the OEM ECU gets on.
