MTB Rack for the S
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a decent bike rack for the S, that fits a car with the factory rear spoiler? Before I get slammed I have searched and seen that the Saris Bones gets pretty good reviews but all pics seem to be spoilerless cars, I need to fit 2xmtb's onto said rack, any advice greatly appreciated, Cheers

A quick search on the forum should show that a few people (me included) use the Saris Bones rack to great effect. Two tips:
1) Get the 3-bike rack because it has two upper 'legs' rather than one and because you can fit 2 bikes on it even when following number 2)...
2) Put all the feet on top of the boot lid (careful to tension all the straps evenly and well). The bumper is too soft to support the rack without squashing. The rack doesn't 'stick out' as far backwards, hence the closest bike mounting point to the boot is difficult to use.
Hope that helps. It's a great rack when fitted well, very stiff and barely moves.
Edit: Should be able to get it to fit over the spoiler too, but it will accentuate the effect of point 2).

Thanks for the tips, I saw from the search that the Saris appears to be the weapon of choice but was interested if anyone had experience or any issues fitting it with a spoiler insitu as the searches dont mention this. Excellent advice on fitting and variant though, I'll go for the 3 and post back as to whether or not it does indeed fit over the spoiler. Cheers.
