Cool MPG Limbo Thread

Inspired by the boring skimping frugle fuel posts I thought it would be much more fun to see who still uses and drives their S2k properly and how it should be done.

So what is the lowest mpg you have got?

Personally I have not had a chance to really use the car yet, but I went on a 60 mile hoon and my average mpg was 9.2mpg. So single figures! Can you do better?

Let the FUN commence!

I filled up the other day and am going to hit 200 miles when I need to fill!
That is a record!
I normally get around 280- 300 miles to a fill.

My lowest for a tank according to road trip since I bought the car was 23mpg, but this is over a full tank, my average is 26.6mpg, finally best was 30.7mpg.

Ummm maybe a error in my calculation then! It was pretty much VTEC in 1st and 2nd everywhere, but on public roads so a trackday would definitely see lower.

Must have been my poor maths at play then!

EDIT: Just worked it out, I don't know what I was thinking last night as I quoted the lowest mpg I got in the Jag on that 60 mile hoon! I must have been on something! Lowest in the S2k is 18 on a hoon.

My bad!

12 miles at North Weald sees of a 1/4 of the fuel gauge - but it's the bottom 1/4, which is the smallest one.

Lowest ever tank mileage was 170ish, but I'd have thought 140ish if it was a track.

Stu - most of yours goes towards pyrotechnics out of the exhaust
