MPG
So I have had a few issues with my car over the winter, and lost a bit Of the spark for my car, however, driving to work yesterday with the top down and sun shinning the spark came back and I have fallen in love again.
However here is the problem, due to a new job I am going to be driving all over the country and as I'm sure everyone is aware, the S is not the greatest on fuel economy so I'm going to have to sell Now this is something I don't want to do, so was wondering if there is anything you can buy for the car that will up the MPG enough to allow me to keep my baby.

You could buy more petrol? I've found that by adding more petrol the car will go much further before the fuel light comes on.
Don't take my word for it though, try doing a search.

Exactly I have I focus for daily. Don't but one of them though it's W**k.
It cost me less than 2k and with the better fuel economy it works out nicely.
I quite enjoy driving it to because I just don't care about it don't have to worry about where you leave it or anything like that

Get an old Mondeo diesel (TDCI). Proper motorway barge and fairly frugal.
Although you will be getting one to keep the miles of the S, not for some namby pamby reason like mpg!

Pick one up for about £500, Insure for about the same and enjoy 50mpg and care free motoring. If the car only lasts the year it's still worth about £100 in scrap.
Doing enough miles in a beater pretty much pays for it self on the fuel and wear and tear you avoid with the S2000.
It's seriously worth sitting down and doing the maths before dismissing the idea of a second car.
