Mounting an iPad in an S2000
Okay,
So I've got an ipad mini that i can now repurpose, and I thought about using the carplay function of it in journeys. I've had a search on the forums and there doesnt seem to be an off-the-shelf product that allows you to mount it on the dash. The closest I've seen is some companies over in the US would cut up the dash and fibreglass you a mount that was flush and so forth.
Has anyone tried something in the UK, and with any real success?

What do you mean by "mount it on the dash"?
I'm guessing you've see this thread: https://www.s2ki.com/...__fromsearch__1
I gleaned this link from that thread: https://www.youtube....h?v=ZTSZVWBhCHc though it looks like you'd have to remove the air vents above the stereo.
You would probably be better off with a phone or touch mounted on a modifry bracket and selling the pad

If you want it in the dash you'll need these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-S200...item35e24b3ea4
And a fair bit of time and effort

Funny enough, I have an old nexus 7 somewhere which I can use. Basically the ideal situation would be something like yours Kevo, and I'll just hardwire a USB charger to the accessory plug and fuse it ofcourse.
