I use my Honda dealer for the MOT on my Shuttle. They pre-test, and I did have a problem last time, which they fixed & then did the MOT.

He told me the MOT testing has changed. You dont have 14 days to get it right anymore.

Said if i took it away I would be charged full test again

as they cant do it until the 17th no spaces for MOT s

I think Boll..ocks is the word iam looking for

until you can prove they are wrong wampa, you have nothing to be mad about. Your car failed the MOT, live with it.

What's the headlight adjuster? Is it the thing that adjusts how high/low the beam is? AFAIR the S doesn't have one that you can change from the dash. Therefore it's the twiddly thing on the actual headlamp unit itself? As this is integrated, I assume the whole unit is replaced? Can you get to look at it and get them to show you the fault?
