Default MOT Passed again not one problem but

Hi Everyone my 99 S passed with flying colours today, year after year not a problem. Before I took the car down to my local Honda dealer for Mot I noticed my Radiator fan is on constantly so I am guessing the switch has failed has anyone changed there's how difficult is it to get to. I did have a quick look I thinks its near the top of the radiator. Honda didn't even mention it all they said was my tyres are getting low so obviously after an easy pound note.

As you're looking at the front of the car, switch is at the bottom right hand corner of the RAD.

Nowt fancy, can get them from most motor factors for about 6-7 quid.

Congrats!

Mine passed yesterday without one single advisory!

I found a great formula too: (Car-Cat)+Beer=Pass

No worries

Part number if any use to you, take it to any motor factors and they'll recognize it

Part manufacturer:- Cambiare
Part No:- VE709047

As found on most hondas strangely

Mine failed on Tuesday. I had a hole on the passenger side on the rear end of the cill (actually it's part of the rear wing). Got that sorted straight away. Exhaust was leaking through one of the joints, again fixed straight away. Also failed on headlight washers not working so I put the fuse back in for the first time in 8 years.

It passed today.

With the rad fan issue aren't most systems on these Hondas set to "fail safe" i.e. if the wire comes unplugged the fan will turn on ? Just sayin' it might be worth checking the connector is actually plugged in and there's no damage to the wiring in the first instance. Also making and breaking the circuit a few times to see if you can change the behaviour of the fans (could be a stuck relay rather than the thermoswitch)
