Default MOT pass.

Took my 09 for it's first Mot today, easy pass and cheap too, £10 special deal, got home and laid the new certificate handy for taxing the car, then realised I'd had it done it a month early(the mot not the tax), not due till 25/5, what a divvy.
Edit- I haven't taxed the car early it was the mot I had done early, still awaiting the renewal, was having a bad day definitely when I posted this, on;y reread the post after some of the replies. Sorry for the confusion.

Gonna get another couple of £10 vouchers as they're good for twelve months and will do any of the cars in the family if I don't need them for our two.

Thats very unfortunate Martin anecdotally I've just took my 09 for its first MoT today with August Honda Salisbury, V good service, as I'm coming to expect from only my 3rd visit, just completed the usual finanical raping (paying for road tax on line)....oh hum an apparent neccessary evil I suppose

Road tax is next month for me and I'll take Honda up on their interest free offer on the extended warranty, may as well spread it out over 10 months instead of parting with cash up front.

I have found them (August Motors, that is) okay for some things but they are pricey and they don't know the difference between a roadster and a GT. I would rather trust my S to TGM in Fleet where they have tons or experience of the model and put there TLC into the car and not the owner.

HiQ are doing MOTs for £25 at the moment.

GuinessTU are you going down to the evening Poole meet? My link 4th May
