Default Most Miles on an S2000 ?

I'm still looking for my long lost S2000 (I'm sure it's out there somewhere !), lots being advertised at various prices and mileages.....

I was wondering how the S2000 stood up to high miles, is it just the normal Honda long term reliability or do things start to go wrong at say 50/60/70k ? Anyone reached 100k yet ?

I'll be up to 60k by the end of the month and touch wood, not a sausage has gone wrong. It has had all the services and I just make sure the oil is topped up and that is about it. By the end of Summer next year I should easily pass the 100k mark!

60k - no problems. Feels a lot tighter than normal fodder with 10k on them!

So at these mileages has anyone had the valves adjusted? or other tweaks.

I expect to keep mine until 60-70 k ie next year.

How much does it cost to replace the valves and heads (whatever they are) - what difference does it make and is it essential??
