Question This morning I woke up to this

When getting up this morning on this bright summer day, i was horrified to find my car like this

It was like I had been carpet bombed by seagulls with diarrhea. Yes I parked under a tree

next i presume the local Peacock gang will be round to peck my car to death after I clean it!

...and a bitch with a hosepipeban !

Lots of very wet chammies (or tea towels) laid over them for 15 mins (in the shade) will loosen most of it.

I managed to get it off, Some of the pieces where so thick , I dont know what these birds eat, must be cement.

Comes with the pleasure of living down the south coast.

Time to invest in a car cover methinks.

Much easier (and kinder on the car) to chuck it in the washing machine each time the seagulls let rip.

Generally bird lime like that takes all the polish and glaze off of the surface. Best to apply some wax, at least, after cleaning.
