Monte-Carlo or Bust

Hi dennohue,
I know this should be in 'spottted' but this is such a great thread that I couldn't resist. I spotted you in or around Lyndhurst (not sure exactly where, as I'm not familiar with the area) on saturday on my way to New Forest (where I spotted 3 other s2000's through the lovely twisty roads, but thats a different story).
Couldn't wave or flash as I was a few cars back and saw you pull out onto the main road and caught your rear plate!
Anyway, looking forward to reading more about your travels.

Damn, damn computers! I spent over an hour loading up Tuesday's news, then just as I was about to post it the Wi-fi connection was lost.
Oh deary me, or words to that effect!

Hope you are having fun Dennis. You've been a bit quiet.
Yes we're having a wonderful time, and there's lot to tell. It's Saturday, and we visited the Pont du Gard this morning, and have just watched the most amzing sunset from the terrace of our hotel in Provence while having a evening meal.
However, French technology is bugging me. Connection to the internet via Wi-fi (or, as the French would say: Wee-fee) has been a real pain in the proverbial! The idea was to post daily, but Usually I am just unable to connect. The excuses have ranged from "there have been storms in the South of France" when I'm in the mid-west, to "the walls of the chateau are thick!" At the (very posh) chateau they gave me an ethernet amplifier, but when that didn't work they shrugged their shoulders and said; "well, the walls of the chateau are VERY thick".
I'm saving all the best pictures and will post up the full story on my return!
Dennis
