That makes no sense to me because the one I had DID have the problem as does the one I have now

You activate dimmer mode and red, then turn your headlights on and the DCI just stops working

. Annoying as hell when you first have it happen but really not a big deal at all

That's a good idea - I wanted to get a double din JDM style touchscreen type thingy for the 'Lude off Fleabay.

I cannot see why one cannot have DAB/satnav etc in one big (fronted) box.

Unfortunately, those are all merely crammed with gimmics and are still hideously overpriced.

Right, got it, fitted it (easy peasy) and now I have an after-market part on my car!
