Default modifry advice....

Finally getting round to purchasing and fitting a new stereo into the 'S'. Looking likely to be an Alpine Ipod-ready stereo. I'm not sure of model as yet, however I am looking for experiences of the IR DCI for the alpine and how good these actually work. It is likely that I will have to get the IR version.

Thanks

Leggy

Any reason why you are going for the IR version? Most, if not all, modern Alpine HUs have the 3.5mm jack so you can use the wired DCI.

Thanks Guys, I've had a look and sourced a couple of wired DCI stereo options.

Thinking either the IDA-X303 or CDA-9885R

Anybody currently using these? What other options have people used?? Price range around the

I have an old Sony stereo I orginally bought for my Renault Laguna

Hooked it up with a modifry and worked a treat. I beleive it's even easier these days as he provides pre-made ones (only for Alpine DCIs though).
