Engine removed, and dropped off at HPE Automotive today (who will work with Clockwise Motion to do the build). I also found a BBK that will fit my wheels (see my other thread).
Removing it was a challenge, having never done it before. The hardest thing was the snake's wedding of loom, clips and hoses on the passenger side underneath the intake manifold!

Awesome, looks like it's coming along well!
Compression is getting a little low on mine now, so I've been gradually gathering parts for a rebuild/upgrade. I tried emailing clockwise motion about getting the block bored and honed, but didn't get a reply unfortunately - if anyone has any advice on how to get in contact with them, I'd be grateful for it.

I've spoken to with Ian at Clockwise Motion. He doesn't do road engines anymore, as the insurance wasn't worth it for the number he does, apparently. He focuses on race engines.
However, Dan at HPE Automotive is just across the way from Clockwise Motion and he's taken on the build, but uses Clockwise for the machining. Dan's main business is building K20s and converting Lotus Elises etc to use them.
Ian also taught Dan to rebuild engines, apparently. And Dan is quite particular with the parts he'll build an engine with, so I've developed a good confidence in him. But the proof will be in the pudding! Fingers crossed...
