Model changes
I've searched the site and cannot find one. Is there a definitive list of the model changes and dates anywhere. I'm particularly interested in knowing what differences there are bewteen a 2002 and a 2005.
Thanks.
Geoff

Well...
Erm, the later model has Orange circle indicators in the front lamps, a Silver radio door cover, slightly different bumpers, LED rear lamps, twin colour leather seats and speakers built into the roll over bars...
I believe the new one has an extra 200cc`s aswel but some folk say thats not in the uk? I think it is relevant to uk market..
Overall id say the MY05 is an improvement but i prefer the earlier headlamps.
You gonna buy one??
Go on....
You know you wanna...
It will improve your sex life ) LoL

Yep in the FAQ.
Don't forget, anyone who drives an 04+ is considered a big girl's blouse by anyone driving an earlier car due to the suspension softenening
Mind you, we are also considered poofters by the 99/00 drivers for much the same reason.
Anyone got that 2 Ronnies sketch with John Cleese? "I am middle class..."

Doh - I didn't look there. I thought Technical FAQ v2.1 meant oily bits!
Thanks - that gives me what I wanted to know.
And yes I do want to change. From April 2002 GT witrh 12k miles to a April 2005 Roadster with 5k miles.
Care to guess the cost to change?
Just an ordinary deal.

yes the newer models are a 2.2 litre engine but only rev to 8.3k revs and the later models rev to 9k revs with a 2 litre engine,i own a 2002 model but test drove a 2005 model at the dealers and it felt much torquer low down in the rev range

The 2005 model you test-drove will have had the same 2.0 litre 9,000 rpm F20C as in your 2002 model!
