I've been meaning to post this for a while, as i've had a couple of emails about the special mobile phone brackets & wiring looms available for the S2000. Mine is a Nokia kit, but the supplier below can assist with other manufacturer kits...

It is a company in Worcester called Nemesis (GB) Ltd, and they're on (01905) 451414.

I have two of the Nemesis custom designed accessories - a specific non-drill bracket for the phone cradle, clipping to the right of the gearstick gaiter and transmission tunnel carpet - the second is a wiring loom to allow the mobile installer to pass the mute functions through the phone & stereo, and also to allow calls to be heard through the stereo speakers in the car.

Part number for the wiring loom is '99-80550 HONDA 2 MUTE', and the cradle is '632902'.

Photo enclosed below - you can also see the red leather console cover (Ricks) Double click picture for larger version...

Matt.

That's really neat! Can I buy this just a s a cradle? i.e. without the wiring to radio etc.?
Did you get your grill instructions O.K.?

Cedric,

Yes, you can just buy the cradle separately - not sure of the cost though. Thanks for the grill instructions - thats a job for this weekend !!

Cheers,

Matt.

Very neat Matt. My problem is no-one makes a proper cradle for my Nokia 8210 Personal hands free only here...

I can't find one for the 8890 either, been told the is a cradle available in Germany for it, and you can use the wiring from the one pictured with that. But can't find a UK supplier for it.

I have an 8810 and no cradle available that I know of. If it was 1/4" shorter it would fit in the cupholder with the lid closed. A Motorola Startac would fit but they seem a bit flimsy to me. The cradle shown in Matt's pic looks like it's for a fairly big phone.

Yeah they do - nokia don't - but there is a german company that do one. I bought it for my last car - it isn't great quality and its about 100quid but it works fine. I sold it a few weeks after i got the s2000 cos i didn't want to deface any of the interior panels - the fitting element is not ideal but could be ok with a bit of modification becuase the cradle part is good.

I'll post the number of the place i got it from if anyone wants it.

BTW.......i believe this works for the 8890 and 8810 because they have the same power/headphone jacks.....
